Tonight on Lawmakers, Governor Sonny Perdue abandons the so-called “bed tax” proposition to fund the Medicaid shortfall, opting instead to propose decreasing Medicaid reimbursements by 10.25%; the Senate passes legislation aimed at establishing statewide standards for property tax assessments and appeals; and it’s the end of another legislative week, time to check in with Tom Crawford of The Georgia Report.
